Go Beyond the Roof

Transform customer parking lots into high-yield solar farms—without sacrificing a single parking space.

Stop fighting for roof space. Start selling the lot.

Rooftop space for solar is limited and often restricted by factors entirely beyond your control. Stracker simplifies commercial solar and brings it to wide-open spaces that are perfectly positioned for the sun.

  • No roof warranty issues.

  • No roof membrane or material limitations.

  • Units are repositionable for new sites.

  • Same ground footprint as a light pole.

  • Improved parking lot lighting at night.

  • Less maintenance than rooftop or carport solar.

Stracker opens up a massive new frontier for your sales team: the parking lot.

As a Certified Installation Partner, you can offer your clients a highly visible, patented solar array that generates up to 70% more energy than a fixed roof system. No roof penetrations. No voided warranties. Just clean, premium commercial solar.

How Stracker Works

Solar Panels

Each unit uses commercially-available, bifacial (dual-sided) solar panels to collect energy from the sun and reflected energy from the ground under the panels.

Rack & Mounting

Solar panels are mounted on our rack system, securing them in place and ensuring safety during wind or harsh weather.

Dual-Axis Head Unit

Our patented dual-axis head unit uses motors to move the solar panels to the best position to capture the sun's energy. The panels move continuously throughout the day, tracking the sun's path.

Pole

A 20' tall, 12x12" heavy steel pole supports the Stracker's head unit from the ground while keeping the panels out of the way of traffic below.

Foundation

A single 6' deep, 30" diameter steel-reinforced concrete foundation is poured on site to support the Stracker unit.

Solar & Electrical Hardware

As with any solar panel system, Stracker units use an inverter to convert the DC energy from the panels into the AC energy used by the electrical grid. The specific hardware may change depending on how the Stracker unit is deployed.

Weather Station

The weather station at the top of the unit ensures each unit will return to a safe position during high winds and can properly shed snow.

Onboard Hardware

An onboard computer uses GPS and other data to control the movement of the Stracker, keeping it in line with the sun during the day and moving the panels to a horizontal position at night and during extreme weather.

LED Lighting

Optional LED lighting under the panel turns on at night when the panel is in the horizontal (stowed) position. The LED lights provide visibility and security without adding unnecessary light pollution.

Preserving Parking Density and Traffic Flow

Traditional fixed solar carports force property owners into an operational compromise: gain energy, but sacrifice parking stalls, narrow driving aisles, and choke traffic capacity. The result is a maze of vertical steel posts that drivers can hit, restricted clearance for delivery vehicles, and added liability for site managers.

Stracker eliminates structural clutter by elevating dual-axis generation onto a single structural mast, preserving the full utility of your parking infrastructure.

Traditional Carport Grid

Requires continuous rows of vertical support columns placed directly along stall lines and driving aisles. These structural posts eliminate parking stalls, narrow transit lanes, and create tight turns that block commercial delivery trucks.

Stracker Single-Mast

Each array is supported by a single 12" x 12" steel monopole mounted to a raised 18" concrete pedestal, designed to fit inside standard landscape islands, parking dividers, or perimeter borders.

Zero Lost Stalls

Every single parking space remains open, accessible, and mostly shaded.

Unobstructed Turning Radius

Driving aisles maintain full clearance for logistics vans, semi-trucks, and snowplows without column interference.

Keeping Vehicle Clearances

Traditional Canopy Obstructions

Standard fixed-tilt carports slope down to 9 to 12 feet at their low edge. This low clearance excludes high-profile logistics fleets, creates dark spaces, and increases vehicle-strike hazards.

14-Foot Minimum Clearance

Stracker arrays maintain a 14-foot vertical clearance above grade even when tilted to their maximum 60° downward angle.

Commercial Fleet & Emergency Access

Commercial delivery vehicles, fire engines, semi-trucks, and transit buses navigate beneath the array unhindered.

Open Sightlines & Security

Elevating the array's center pivot axis to 25 feet maintains open sightlines across the lot, preventing dark dead zones and providing wide security illumination at night.

A Complete Energy Platform

Add battery systems and vehicle charging for a complete solution.

EV Charging

Easily integrate Level 2 or DC Fast chargers from your preferred provider directly into the Stracker poles. Start with a few stalls and scale up seamlessly without redesigning your lot's structure.

Behind-the-Meter Storage

Pair your arrays with battery systems to keep critical facility loads running and shave expensive peak demand charges.

Lot Lighting & Shade

Integrated LED lighting on the poles provides nighttime safety, while the massive 26' x 30' arrays provide premium shade to keep vehicles and inventory cool during the day.

Modular & Relocatable

If your parking lot changes, the Stracker units can be repositioned to fit your new layout.
