Engineered for the Real World. Driven by Physics.

Solar had a spatial problem. We engineered the solution.

For decades, commercial solar forced property owners into an unacceptable compromise: accept flat, inefficient rooftop panels that risk roof warranties, or erect a forest of low carport columns that choke parking stalls and block logistics fleets.

Stracker Solar was founded on a simple observation: the land beneath our energy systems is too valuable to surrender.

Headquartered in Ashland, Oregon, Stracker designs and manufactures utility-grade, elevated dual-axis solar tracking platforms. We took the precision of utility-scale sun tracking, elevated it 20 feet into the air, and anchored it to a single slender structural mast—delivering up to 70% more solar energy with zero loss of parking capacity.

Built by Engineers, Not Marketers

We didn’t start Stracker to build incremental solar racking. We started it to solve the fundamental physics and real estate bottlenecks holding commercial clean energy back.

  • The Energy Problem: Static panels only capture peak sun for roughly 90 minutes around solar noon, dropping off right when commercial electricity demand and utility Time-of-Use (TOU) rates spike.

  • The Real Estate Problem: Traditional carports consume parking spaces, reduce drive-aisle clearance to 9–12 feet, and introduce collision hazards for delivery trucks and emergency fleets.

  • The Structural Answer: Stracker elevated the pivot axis to 25 feet on a single 12" x 12" monopole, keeping panels perpendicular to the sun from dawn to dusk while providing a minimum 14-foot clearance for heavy commercial transit underneath.

How We Build

1. Respect the Ground Below

Solar infrastructure should enhance commercial property, not restrict it. Every Stracker is engineered with a minimal base footprint that integrates cleanly into existing medians, fields and landscape borders—preserving 100% of parking stalls and vehicle turn radiuses.

2. Follow the Physics

Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) holds the highest concentration of solar energy. By tracking the sun across both azimuth and elevation axes and capturing ground albedo through high-clearance bifacial panels, we extract maximum kilowatt-hours from every square foot of surface area.

3. Industrial-Grade Durability

Commercial energy assets must outlast the contracts that finance them. Engineered from heavy structural steel, high-torque slew drives, and integrated wind-stow safety automation, Stracker systems are built to withstand severe weather, heavy snow loads, and decades of continuous commercial operation.

Why Enterprise Clients Work With Stracker

When you partner with Stracker Solar, your project is never routed into a generic corporate call center. You work directly with the structural, mechanical, and solar specialists who developed the technology.

  • Direct Engineering Access: EPCs and facility engineers collaborate directly with our technical team on geotechnical foundation reviews, NREL SAM specific yield modeling, and microgrid design.

  • Patented & Proven Architecture: Our robust dual-axis tracking and elevated mounting systems are backed by U.S. patents and real-world commercial operating track records.

  • True Partner Alignment: As an OEM manufacturer, we supply the core tracking structure while our certified partners supply panels and balance-of-system hardware through their existing distributor relationships.
